Spring Fundraiser – April 27, 2025
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, McKinley!
The Centennial Quest is a family-friendly scavenger hunt and auction to celebrate McKinley’s 100 years with a nostalgic journey through the decades!
Tickets $15 per person through April 22, with prices going up to $20/per person starting on April 23. Make sure to buy your tickets soon .
But that’s not all. Our Spring Fundraiser also includes an online auction. Bidding will begin in mid-April, and several of the items will be auctioned live at Grand Old BBQ at 3:00 after the scavenger hunt. Tickets are on sale NOW for the Centennial Quest to support the McKinley Spring Fundraiser

What: The launch site will be in front of McKinley. We will have live entertainment, snacks, swag, and a photo booth, and we encourage families to meet up and do the Quest together!
When: Sunday, April 27. The Scavenger Hunt start window is from 11:30am – 2:30pm. Your team can start anytime between these hours. You can take as much time as you want to finish the Quest, so don’t worry if you need to arrive closer to 2:30!
Where: Starting Point is at McKinley Elementary School
How Long: The scavenger hunt should take about 1-2 hours to complete and will cover a distance of 1-2 miles
How Difficult: The clues and game are designed to support our elementary age participants!
Attire: Get ready to travel through time! Costumes representing your favorite decade are HIGHLY encouraged, but not required! Think flappers, poodle skirts, disco divas, grunge rockers, and everything in between! Let’s celebrate the decades in style!

Auction Items & Donations
Each year, we are able to auction a variety of different items, including class projects, teacher features and contributions from neighborhood small businesses, such as restaurants, salons, museums, etc. The committee is grateful for any contribution and requests details be provided in the online donation form located at: Auction Donation Form
Auction Items can take many forms and we welcome your creative ideas! If you think you have something to offer but aren’t sure, contact the Gala Committee before you submit a donation in the form.
